Hello !

I have a problem with my Mongoose, it is not affected by a explosion

i think thats thhe rersult of a bad physics model. i could be wrong though. wait till experts come in xD.

Yeah maybe in the.physics or the collision model. But maby to search in the .vehicle idk where exactly, but when i haz made the h3 banshee, there was the same bug. And when i tryed to fixed that, i found in .vehicle :D

Nope, not physics. Open up the .vehicle tag and look just above where the model location is, you'll see acceleration scale, set it to about 0.3 and your vehicle will be able to be blow away by explosions and such...

What are the bounding radius and render bounding radius set to? set them to the same as the warthog and see what happens maybe?

The bounding radius is 1.1
And the render bounding radius is 0

like as the warthog :/,

When the mongoose and on the base, it is not affected by a explosion,

When the mongoose and on the ground it is affected by a explosion

It's very strange, WTF ?

Hmm...Sounds almost like it has to much traction on that surface...Idk how to fix it whithout messing with the tags myself, and i don't really have the time with some other stuff i'm working on. Try checking the tire properties, at the bottom of the physics tag you'll see a section with a drop down box, select the ones that say tire back left and the others. compare these with the ones on the warthog, then check around in the collision geometry. that's all i know to tell you, sorry :/

exactly what i was thinking you would do to set it, and then set the damage effect in the body
section.
edit: needs more done than just that, so far i just have it going on fire when hit with bullets etc lol.

When The point of control of the model and in below of the grid in 3ds max, the vehicle does not affected by a explosion, and the shadow is not present, and when you leave the vehicle you cross the map O_O..... you die ! xD :
