What? Why am I still here?

[Warning this uses OpenSauce please read my installation instructions for proper install]

Overview:

Well typically this is just my A50 CMT v2 copy that has bein modified using OS to allow me to use more tags and add some nice effects, I have taken away the day time sky since it makes things too incredibly bright, I'ev used much nicer textures for the ground and walls, an extra weapon that some may like, H3-ish marines, and several other improvements and well the whole reason I decided to release this cause well it's just collecting dust on my hard-drive.

If you are getting a crash or exception then download this and see if it fixes it http://www.mediafire.com/?sp06khn92m6bd9l

To properly install this place the folder named "maps" into your Halo CE directory then take the folder named "Halo CE" and place it into "Documents\My Games" the reason you must do this is because without a proper file located in the "Halo CE" folder then OS won't load the new cache files and everything will appear black and soundless

OS was designed to run with Halo 1.08 only sadly so you'd need to either find a downgrade or reinstall Halo with the 1.08 patch

I never remember normal Halo using a tag_groups.map

either get the newer-older build (haha) or wait for the release of the final build. the installer installs os to the current version of the game you have, instead of trying to get an 1.08 exe and the changer.

I just use two different installations of CE, one with 1.09 for playing MP and another with 1.08 for map editing and junk

I wouldn't mess with this. Wait for the official OS release, nothing out right now is stable enough or has the features for a public release.

Hmm is that so? seemed pretty stable to me but again I did have problems with Halo coming up with odd errors in the past with OS
