I haven't watched the videos, but your reason for a U there is stupid. Editing an original campaign is absolutely fine. CMT's doing it very well, so it can clearly be done. Just because you want a custom campaign, doesn't mean mods should go extinct.

It's alright for what it is. But it's not spectacularly impressive, creative or hard to make.
There's nothing really wrong with the level. For what it is it's "decent".

Well, to be blunt, your mod is nothing special. Now before you jump forward and try to kill me with flames. Just wait a second.

You see, I was once in your position, I too wanted to make an awesome campaign mod. Not with the Covenant however, with the Flood. Now at first I tried using Halo PC back when I was a very young member, and I learned very quickly that it wouldn't work well. The reason was very simple; Halo PC does not have the necessary tools to make a campaign conversion mod, or in fact a custom campaign, whichever you are trying to go for.

What I'm trying to say is that you're not going to recieve positive ratings from this, and the best option to take would be to use Custom Edition. Now, I saw and read your thread complaining about the tools. Well, guess what: we all had no clue how to work them at the beginning. That is why there are tutorials. They are not hard to find, and you will see eventually that switching the Custom Edition is the best choice to make.

Furthermore; if you do decide to walk this path and make the mod for Custom Edition. Then you are free to add me on xfire(www.xfire.com). My username is warlordkillsall. If you do I will attempt to answer any relevant questions with my knowledge of the game.

And personally, currently, your mod is between a D and a U. It is neither horrible, but it desperately needs improvement. And this improvement can only be made if you switch to Custom Edition.

My 2 cents, feel free to do with it as you wish.

I don't want to use custom edition. The toolset is horrible.

Clearly judging by what has been made with the toolset it is not horrible. But like most things in life it requires some effort to get used to it, once you do that it's very fluent to work with.

I tried learning it, but it was too complicated. I'm sticking with HMT no matter what anybody says.

I highly recommend NOT aiming for a job in game development.

This forum is dedicated to the Halo Custom Edition game and while we allow some latitude in matters pertaining to Halo this is not the appropriate forum for releasing a Halo PC map since unlike Halo Custom Edition, the copyright and EULA for Halo PC does not specifically allow mods or map making even if it is not enforced, which is why we do not host them.
