can you install halopc, haloce and hek on an external harddrive?

HEK can run purely based on its files, HCE and HPC require the registry with your CD key in it. If you export your registry, and import it on any different computer you want to play it on, then yes, it would work. I believe you'd have to install the text fix on each computer though (since that wouldn't be installed on any of them)
