So i was looking at some bitmaps in particles and saw that they had several different variants in one bitmap, i assumed that this was for bitmap animation. i was wandering how i was to go about making one bitmap have several variants. the example i'll give is bullet casing.
That's all i need and hope to hear back soon

GE 1. Don't sign your posts. Please? It looks bad 2. You seperate each by a blue barrier, I believe.

Thank you for the help, and advice. Quick question. i have run into a place where i don't know what to do. in this tutorial in one place it says Quote: Then tool happens "there was a picture of tool here" Oh ****, error! That's okay; tool will first search for a bitmap of the same name in my tags directory; if it can't find one, it'll make one with default parameters. Now I need to change those parameters. my question is, how to i change the parameters of a bitmap? Edited by grunt_eater on Nov 14, 2011 at 10:24 AM

Change parameters... ITS GUERILLA TIME! Open the .bitmap with guerilla and under that type of bitmap, select sprite.

'nother question. um how do i set it up so that there are more then one bitmap in the bitmaps section of the bitmap itself? like if you open a bitmap and click show bitmap in there there will be a drop down where you can select multiple actual bitmaps Edited by grunt_eater on Nov 14, 2011 at 06:00 PM

That depends on a number of things; if you set a sprite size of, say, 256x256, it means it will try and fit as many of your sprites on to a sprite page of those dimensions. So if you have lots of sprites, it will be on many pages.
