I believe default destination where HEK looks for Halo:CE is

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition

^On a 32-bit Operating System.

On a 64-bit OS, the default destination is as follows:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition

Na, the HEK installer will actually know where you installed HaloCE. If it doesn't: You prolly moved your Halo CE Root directory after installing it -- ergo... Regedit won't know about this.

If that's the case, you just tell regedit where Halo CE was moved to.

You must be using a *cough* "portable" version of the game. If not, then Install the game with the real Halo CE installer and THEN install HEK.
