i started this thread to show the difference between normal halo and halo with bloom effects and how much it improves the look of this game elite captian without bloom turned on heretic elites without bloom the same elites with the bloom turned on

X-fire seems to have conflicts with this... Xfire>bloom for me.

what do you mean? does xfire not take pictures of it,
did you put the files in your halo root ditectory, where all the exe's are at. also make shure you allow it to replace all files when copying the files.

Xfire uses d3d9 as a renderer, but this bloom uses d3d9, so that's why I'm guessing there's conflicts.
