I own Halo Custom Edition. Yes it is a legit version. Whenever I go to the server select screen in multiplayer, and try to load a server playing a custom map, it spends time loading and the game sends me back to the title screen. Along with that a message appears saying "Unable to join game server!".
When I create a game and I play a custom map, it works fine. But whenever I join a game that I didn't create that's playing a custom map, it always seems to fail. Do you guys have any suggestions of what I should do?

Make sure you have the map listed on the server downloaded to your maps folder inside your Halo CE installation directory.

I've got this problem too. Have had it for over 6 months now.
To my knowledge no one knows why this is happening...

I suggest you to check your network settings in halo (should.be 2302/2303), and if the ports are opened correctly on your computer
