Recommendation:

This map is designed for 3v3 and 4v4, or FFA gametypes.



Acknowledgement:

Conscars made the skybox

Atomic117 made the MLP flags

Teh Lag and Boba supplied the player biped and helped with other various things.

KuteKoala for working on the biped, even though we didn't end up using his work.

Trotim gave me emotional support!

Anyone else who made content for this that I forgot about, sorry about that =(

Shoutout to Modacity's and Halomaps' community for playtesting and feedback.

Looks and feels amazing, but ti lacks something. Maybe size. It IS a little on the midget side.

The map itself has been done for well over a month lol, teh lag needed time to get the biped perfect that's all~

I've been out of my province for about a month or so now, dunno when I'll be back, and the game performs very poorly on my laptop so idk, I wasn't going to put one together anytime soon.

No idea then, it's been reported by two others on Nvidia Cards, but I haven't been able to replicate the issue. So not much I can do about it.

The flashlight isn't really that useful anyway though since the players give off their own light, so I'm not gonna make a big deal about it, for reference though what card do you use?

i have a radeon HD 3450, flickers as well. Just opened it up to check.
Not a big deal at all though. its a fantastic map.

If anyone playing the map could post their graphics cards, and Operating system and say whether they're having flashlight issues that'd be great!

Hd3200, Vista 64 bit, no issues.

I'd like to know how widespread the issue is, and what might be causing it.

Just tried out the map:

First of all, the lighting and geometry are all very nicely done, screams forerunner and is vibrant in color.

Second of all, theres quite a few things that stood out and did bug me. One of those is the sky and skybox geometry, the sky is nice looking in a picture but it isn't animated at all, its very dull to look out too (even the planet itself is just boring, and the ships and burning ship dont animate). You could of also extended the geometry just a tiny bit at the bottom to give off the impression that there was more and that it didn't just stop down there, it looks unrealistic. The glowing light on the player biped is pretty annoying too, and in multiplayer it will probably give away your position easily (it never seemed to be a problem trying to find players back in the beta?).

And yeah, flashlights messed up for me too. Chances are its the tags since all my other maps seem fine. Video card is an ATI HD Radeon 5850.

My flashlight flickers in this map too.

Flashlight also flickers in most of Sunny Sharma's maps.

These maps use a lot of specular and lens flares, maybe this is the prob?

How many lens flares does requiem use? and how powerful?

flashlight flicker doesn't happen on any other maps I can remember.

It may not be a problem with the map itself, maybe halo has a limit on the amount of dynamic lights it can use?

There isn't really more specular than usual, I mean each material has shine, but that's true for almost every halo map.

As for lens flares there's only one that is consistently visible and that's the sun one, there are the two flares and dynamic ilghts on each door but those will be culled if you can't see them, so we're talking something around 12 or so visible at one time.

I doubt it's an engine issue since some graphics cards seem unaffected.

the light flickers but when you look at the biped in 3rd person the flashight itself doesnt appear to be flickering
