did u remove any objects or any tags in the map in guerilla before you tried to open this scenario in sapien? if so then that's your problem and you need to undo what you did.

If I try to open it without removing anything, I end up with this:

Right there is the problem. Just read the debug, it usually contains some useful information.

You either don't have those tags, or they have become corrupt, just re-extract them from any of the stock campaign missions containing flood.

So I got the Flood gibblets taken care of, fixed a faulty section of BSP, and tried it again.

Your trying to make a singleplayer map without the core tags of any singleplayer map. Open a HPC SP map in HEK+, and rip the whole UI folder; if your missing that tag, your probably missing everything referenced by it.
