i have a BIG problem: i made a scenario, with a lot of AIs, it is perfect! it will amazing map! but............ the compiler say me:

culling uncompressed model vertices...done
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'

culling uncompressed model animation data...done
building predicted resources for structures...done
structure bsp 'levels\test\rpsp\misc_invaders' is 1.45M
tag headers and names are 0.37M
streaming model vertex and index buffers...done
streaming tags...............................................done
writing vertex and index buffers...done 28.29M
writing tags...done (4770 tags for 15.56M)
total tag size is 17.00M (6.00M free)
cache file 10.49M too large (should be 128.00M but was 138.49M)
### FAILED TO BUILD CACHE FILE.

Cache pack file bitmaps hits: 1018 for 60.24M
Cache pack file bitmaps adds/misses: 696 for 56.40M
Cache pack file sounds hits: 676 for 11.99M
Cache pack file sounds adds/misses: 1912 for 37.78M


can someone help me? I saw scenarios of 222 MB!!! how to compile it right?

try to remove all unused tags from the scenario and globals



wer those large scenerios singleplayer?

It's impossible to get that error at that size for a single player map. Only multiplayer maps have a cache limit of 128MB.

I wasn't going to post this, but if you Google tool_pro and download it, you can compile maps larger than 128MB using the following command line:
tool_pro build-cache-file levels/levelname/levelname


I must warn you, however. tool_pro may seem like a virus when it is not, and I do NOT recommend using it for anything else besides compiling .scenarios into .maps and debugging.

In other words: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

And no, I will NOT provide a link, as Dennis will simply remove it.
