i know how to add the skin modifer but the problem is i cant deselect vertices

Really? All I do to deselect is hold Alt instead of Ctrl and drag over the ones I don't need. Works for me, using 2010...

The easy way to rig is to convert to editable mesh (or poly), hold ALT for rigging mode, and press F4 for outlined edges. Select a bone, and repeat.

Lolz slappy I don't think anybody's dumb enough not to know the purpose of alt + f4.

Tell some random kid on Halo to use ALT+F4 for cheats and see what happens.

True enough. I did that when I saw an group of inmature kids who called me a hacker in CE once. Like 5 of them left straight after, so I think it worked. I also told them to delete their System32 folder for a free copy of Halo 4 on PC.
