I am looking for any kind of tutorial or info about putting water from The Silent Cartographer into any of my maps, I have tried copying over all of the tags from that level and using them in Max and what not, compiling, etc...
but the water always shows up clear with ripples, no fog, waves or any of the neat stuff.
Any input? Thanks in advance.

1. Create a plane where you water, give it a material that is named "water!$" (without quotations). Make sure to uvw box it.
2. Waves are created by another, smaller, local plane that has the wave texture applied and unwraped to it. Make sure this is also transparent (use the ! again)
3. Fog is achieved once you have the water with the name I told you to put in. In sapien, scroll to the bottom of the fog palette and create one for your fog. There is a fog tag for water in levels/b30. Once you have done that, apply it in the actual fogs properties, reload sapein, and your good to go!
