I have been working on a character/biped and just wanted to test it and see what it looks like in-game before i fully rig it. But when i try to compile the collision model in tool i get this error: 09.12.11 07:07:31 tool pc 01.00.00.0609 ---------------------------------------------- 09.12.11 07:07:31 reference function: _write_to_error_file 09.12.11 07:07:31 reference address: 42ca20 09.12.11 07:07:31 Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map' 09.12.11 07:07:35 EAX: 0x00000000 09.12.11 07:07:35 EBX: 0x00000401 09.12.11 07:07:35 ECX: 0x00000000 09.12.11 07:07:35 EDX: 0x00000000 09.12.11 07:07:35 EDI: 0x0018CF28 09.12.11 07:07:35 ESI: 0x00000000 09.12.11 07:07:35 EBP: 0x0018CE00 09.12.11 07:07:35 ESP: 0x0018CDF0 09.12.11 07:07:35 EIP: 0x77050C32, 83 C4 04 C2 ????? 09.12.11 07:07:35 EXCEPTION halt in .\import_collision_bsp\build_collision_bsp.c,#387: global_plane_count<MAXIMUM_BSP3D_DEPTH
Anyone know what it means and how to fix it?
Thanks

You have a sphere or something that is too smooth in the model.

Don't know, but trying to find out what this means. global_plane_count<MAXIMUM_BSP3D_DEPTH I would say that the maximum bsps is over the plane count. What does the collision look like?

Ok....fixed the issue. It was that i was using a sphere as part of the collision model. And apparently tool HATES spheres in general. So i switched to a cylinder and that fixed the problem. I will post images as soon as i can. Wish me luck! Videoman Ok....here is the model in-game. Please take note that it is a scenery tag. I did this just to test it and see what it looked like. Enjoy!
