Hi I'm a bit new to the forums here but one thing that has really annoyed me is that there is no Halo 2 Style Campaign. So I was just wondering if someone could make a Campaing mod with all the Halo 2 weapons and vehicles and Models etc.
I'd really like it if the weapons and vehicles and Models etc. Were ripped (or whatever way you can get it from the map.) from the two maps Z Coagulation h2 pb2 and also Z Sanctuary h2 pb2. Because in my opinion I thought those two maps did the best and reincarnating Halo 2's Weapons and Vehicles.

Whoever is reading this dosn't necessarily have to do this but I think it would be really cool if someone did do this because the majority of maps based off later halo games is majorly Halo 3 and there is barely any actually good quality Halo 2 stuff you can find.

Once again I hope somone really does and if they do i can not thank them enougth.

P.S. It would be nice if you did make the maps to upload them to Halo Maps

Yeah I like CMT and every thing and those maps are kind of like Halo 2 but they aren't really Halo 2 if you know what I mean what I'm hoping for is a campaign which has the exact Halo 2 Weapons Vehicles and Models etc.

Nah believe me I've done plenty of research there just isn't a Halo 2 style campaign what I'm hoping for is that someone makes one.

If you want a copy of a campaign then... GO PLAY THE GAME!!

Stupid requests, it takes months to do something like this and make it good quality... not something just simple. Make a realistic request. No one is going to do this for you...

1. Rip Zteams Map with Eternal Lightning
2. Replace the tags in guerilla
3. Compile

There you go. Simple steps on what to do...
Isn't that hard to do yourself, just mess with tags for a bit until you realize what your doing. Once you figure that out its super easy.

Eternal Lightning is not easy it will mix up the tag names and will have to find all the dependencies.

1. Not everyone has the money to go out and buy a new game.

2. Try to point him towards some mods that might be similar to what he's asking for.

3. He's obviously new, cut him some slack.

I don't want some one to make the halo 2 campaign I just want someone to mod the Halo 1 original campaign to have Halo 2 Weapons, Vehicles and Models etc.

I mean it dosn't have to be at the highest quality like CMT's campaign mods but just some simple tags put into it

Nobody's going to be paying you jack ****. I can modify the H1 campaign to have H2 weapons just so people can have it.

BTW, d20 =/= entire H1 campaign.

Yet I can use it fine and I don't get confused. You just have to open the tags and rename em.

Why use D20 which is the one where you find out that Captain Keyes is a Flood why not just use A10 instead and if you do actually make it a would really like it if you used the Weapons, Vehicles and Models from these links

Yeah no offense but is sounds horrible and nothing like i would like it and why play as the arbiter? and dual pistols god that sounds bad I've seen them before and they suck what I want is something like H3 style campaign but you know Halo 2 style campaign and you still play as Mastercheif

Sorry if I'm sounding like it's the worst thing that happened but it just dosn't sound like what I would like it to be.

I think halo2 can be described as:

- more scripted encounters than what's normally in halo custom edition
- - - Use of recorded animations for *unimportant* events (what made people go yay at the halo2 beta preview)
- urban environments with objectives that actually make sense in an urban area
- more militaristic in interactions against enemies, not just "walk into the next BSP and kill everyone - only 1 objective in this BSP: rescue lifepod survivors"


and to answer your topic's title: Yes, I *COULD* make a halo2-styled campaign. (If I knew how to script....)

yeah know i could make you a b30 d20 etc halo 2 remake but the thing is it would take a really long time like 2 months.

A thing you need to keep in mind is that Halo 2 and Halo 1 are COMPLETELY different games.
Nobody will actually do this.
If you want Halo 2 so bad, just go to your local store and buy it. That's what I did, and worked for me.
