I am having some trouble with running my Halo Custom edition. I try to start up the game, and the loading screen comes up. After that, when it comes to the main screen, things stop working. The Halo is pitch black, the space around it was technicolor, and I couldn't access any of the options. When I tried to join a game through X-fire, Halo Custom closes with an "exception" notice. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and the same thing happend. Please help!!!

Well, the thing is, I have ran Halo Custom on my computer before. It only started doing this a couple of days ago. I can't find anything in these links that has helped my problem.

when you uninstalled halo ce before re-installing it, did you check in your program files folder to make sure that the microsoft games folder was gone?
if not i would try that. just incase something is being left in the folder which is affecting it.
remember to backup your tags and data folders if you need the items in them which don't come with a clean install of hek.
