Ok guys a lot of you on xfire have told me to list a lot of my CE ideas down.
And before any of the new guys who don't know me come in and say "Do it!" I can't sadly. all I'm capable of doing is everything but model. so people wanted me to list my Custom side to the public to give you unimaginative people something to do besides remake unoriginal stuff.
So let's start of small and if you like it I'll give you more ideas.
Weapons:
Forerunner:
Shock Grenade: Basically the same thing as an E.M.P and Plasma Grenade rolled into one. leaves more damage done to all energy based items, such as vehicles, shields, and even weapons.
Incinerator Grenades: Made during the Flood war. These bad boys would wipe anything organic off the face of its blast zone leaving nothing but ashes. Fires off a flat plane of pure energy.
Voltaic Staff: Kind of like the love Child of the Gravity Hammer and Energy Sword. This Staf has 2 effects of damage. either slashing or stabbing your foe with 10000 volts of pure energy. Or charge the energy into a projectile that lunges from the tip emitting 10x its normal power. clearing away any target.
Scorcher Beam: Basically a sentinel beam but hand held. has more of a rifle look to it. Pure Chrome with forerunner symbols, and holographic ones too. Fires an orange beam for main cannon which can take out shields slowly and organic at the same time. secondary fires only a blue charge which pops shields and any energized matter within a second to two.
UNSC: (Really I don't have that many due to the fact a lot of people have made crap loads of UNSC weapons)
Fire Launcher: Grenade Launcher, no. The fire Launcher Shoots a Fire capsule that on impact places fire spreading everywhere. burning your victims to a nice crisp.
Infrared X-ray Scope: Attach it to the Sniper and Pistol. See heat signatures, in the darkest places where your night vision cant. Also so you can see past the cold rocks and the cold buildings where your target is behind.
Gauss Rifle: Fires a smaller round of a Gauss cannon but still does enough impact to blow the crap out of any target.
Impact Rifle: Shoots imp active rounds that find its way into the target and cause them to blow up once they get inside of them. Basically a Needler but the UNSC has improved it and made theirs.
Covenant:
Plasma Burner: A plasma Grenade that does not explode but sticks its self onto the target producing a lot more plasma melting onto the target causing them to slowly burn to death.
Spiker Rifle: High powered Spikes that launch from a long barreled rifle with a knife on the end used to stab enemies. The spike can tear through targets. ripping their internals out and mangle them to pieces to.
Brute Sword: A Gigantic Blade shaped similar to the energy sword but more rough looking. Not sharp at all but very dull so it breaks the targets bone and Ripping the skin open in a bloody manner.
Incinerator Rifle: Based off the Forerunner's incinerator grenade. It uses a charged shot to incinerate a target to dust. can be zoomed in for a far target.
If you like I'll even throw in my map ideas, vehicle, and biped ideas. Il Duce Primo was one of the others who suggested my ideas to be shared. So I hope you like them like the others have :D

Also another idea I always wanted to do was element Bending. kind of like in Avatar the Last Air bender. So people can throw water or Ice. Fire, and Rocks.
you could make weapons like gloves they could put on or some kind of electronic item that attaches it self to your hands wiring its self up to your arms.

Any of you tried out Halo Out with a Whimper, they had a brute rifle that tore through the enemies but only had three shots in the mag. Should check it out looks nice, I'll try to get a screen shot. The plasma burner sounds pretty good but it sounds, to me, like you have to hit the target, limiting it greatly. the plasma grenade makes it so even if you miss theirs a chance you'll still get a kill or wound. What if you made it so if you get within a certain distance it does damage, like a lot of damage, and last for, oh idk, 5-6 seconds. Just thinking out loud and these are just my opinions, take 'em or leave 'em

New weapon ideas? How about a covie plasma thrower? It shoots "flames" of hot plasma. The details are up to you and how you would like it balanced, but I suggest: Range: the plasma doesn't go about as far as the flamethrower. Availability: about the same or easier to get to than the flamethrower. Ammo: smaller clips than the flamethrower. Fire rate/overheat: fires semi-automatic bursts of plasma flame, overheats if you fire more than twice in a second or so. Fire like a shotgun, overheats like a beam rifle.

A gun that has some kind of electrified ammo. It takes down your shields within a hit, but you can only use the weapon up close. (or far away... one or the other)
or maybe, a heavy weapon type thing, that shoots a projectile into the ground, and the electrifies the ground, killing anything within a certain radius by electrocuting them.
A bow and arrow would be cool, though I think thats been done... Covenant plasma thrower would be neat too, like mr slappy said Edited by Higuy on Jul 27, 2011 at 03:54 PM

Agreed I also have many other ideas considering this. I imagined it being slim and the particle would be the mist coming off the plasma grenade. loads like the needler, you can pick up solid plasma and when inserted into the Plasma Thrower it would be increased to deadly Tempatures producing a hot plasma killing any target it touched.

The weapons in H:OWaW vary greatly. The game features every weapon seen in Halo 3, as well as some from Halo: Reach and some custom weapons, such as the "Shredder", a Brute sniper rifle that fires explosive rounds

And now its time for a map idea!
We need a Scary Single Player level. One that will just make you crap yourself uncontrollably for hours at end. Of course everyone has different fears, so thats why in one game you would put all fears into one, Fear of water, falling, blood and gore, torture, Freaky animal things, and what ever other fears there are.
Ive seen some games labeld as scary/horror and to be honest all I saw was gore. that's not scary its just gross. So to actually make a Fear based game you need to actually feel like this could happen, Your the Chacter, and no flying rainbow unicorns. So Im thinking of maybe starting a game off normal you know like, its your average Joe life, than submerges them into the darker side of the game. don't just drop them, no you gotta scare them little by little than boom. there they are Nightmare world, Hell, Blackness, What ever it is, your in it now and are scared.
So that's basically what I think would make a cool map and how to get it to become that way.

Exactly, I think Silent hill had it, but it jumped into the game way to fast, Sure it was freaking Scary. But I think what would make a game even Scarier is if you don't know its meant to be a scary game. Kind of like Screamer vids, you don't know it is is until it screams at you, so you jump and get scared. Thats how I think would make a game to be perfect. of course once they get to the scary part they do realize its gonna be like this for a while so they will get used to it. That's when you gotta keep surprising em some how.
Kind of like in Silent hill how it takes you out of Hell into the 7th Ring of hell all the time and at the times you don't want it to. Fear and Surprises is what would make it super scary.

I agree with some guy above me. A series of slow, not really shockign things you'd see in your average level, btu then BAM! It messes with your mind, btu shocks you as well.
I'm thinking in a clothing shop, with mannequins, and then, all of a sudden, the manneqeuin jumps out at you. But the mannequin monsters stay perfectly still, and there are some mannequins that aren't monsters. You just have to be alert. They only jump at you when ur close.
And a little bit of disoreintation would be nice. Just fog, and things comign at you from the fog.
Has anyone ever thought of a Brute weapon, that fires a large spike, and it sticks in you, stays for a few seconds, then blows up? But larger than needler?
