Kirby got something working today with vehicles that people have been trying to do since H2 working perfect with OS.
Edited by Masters1337 on Aug 16, 2011 at 02:06 AM

Varying damage depending on how fast the vehicle is going when it hits you?

they perfected boosting, if you followed the halomods forum you'd know that.

And what's boosting got to do with varying damage depending on the speed of a vehicle? -.- I did check the halomods forum. I check them every day. Boosting has absolutely nothing to do with varying damage.

because what he said kirby did with vehicles was boosting, therefore you should've already known the answer to that question was a no

I'm afraid I have to return your "-.-" sir and also I'd like to give you a free: *facepalm*

Except that I quoted to ask if they'd do it at any point, not to ask if it was what they were trying to do since H2. So I'm afraid I have to re-return my "-.-" and I'd also like to return your free *facepalm*.

just face it, I pwned you, next time instead of lazily quoting posts write your own.

simple really, you quoted this post: "Varying damage depending on how fast the vehicle is going when it hits you?" which was responding to this post: "Kirby got something working today with vehicles that people have been trying to do since H2 working perfect with OS." which made this post: "they perfected boosting, if you followed the halomods forum you'd know that." valid and this post: "Except that I quoted to ask if they'd do it at any point, not to ask if it was what they were trying to do since H2. So I'm afraid I have to re-return my "-.-" and I'd also like to return your free *facepalm*." invalid due to your failure to elaborate in the original post, which was just a quote of an older post. Therefore, I am obviously the victor but for some reason you seem to be trying relentlessly to deny this fact for some reason rather than just learning your lesson about elaborating when posting and then getting on with your life. At the risk of inadvertently pushing this thread back on topic, I have a question for the guys at CMT.

How does your Brute AI behave? If you had to compare it to the Brute AI from a previous Halo game, which would you choose and why?

Well. I don't know anyting about scripting. But, you could script it so you swap it by scripting so you get that weapon, and he gets your weapon. But that would be way too tough for all the weapons. So I doubt it.

I think it would be interesting if CMT added like, little cover boxes and stuff. And program the AI so that if it was near it, and it identified it, it would crouch behind it.

I dunno if you can make them intentionally take cover, but it would be cool, wouldn't it?

Also, are there gonna be any grav hammers? Just cause, y'know, it would make the brutes on this more than pumped up elites. On drugs.

Either way, it's just another revamped chief, I like our custom one way better.

As far as I know those grunts have been lost, it would' be hard to make new ones and we'll have to see how the jackals come out first. Don't forget normals go a long way, H1 marines may look really good with them. AI swapping won't be happening.

actually on the flood levels that would be interesting.. just have them WAY too far away from the player to ever burn them... it would be spartan III's with brgs from spv1 allllll over again... that being said, jesse has gotten some decent fplegs in game, will cmt have themselves some of those?

Can you make it like a real flamethrower? Real flamethrowers, in real life, have a much longer range, but not too long. Also, PUT IN MORE ODSTs! The first SPV2 map that had them was c10, and they had those horrible(no offense) silenced smgs.

Maybe with the flamethrower's shark decal on their helmets?

Yayaya. On "Keyes," you could replace the face-punching cutscene with Bungie's original intention: To burn the neural implants out of his skull with a flamethrower.

Yea, I mean, have u sene teh barrel of the flamer? It isn't that wide. Wait

IUts either the long, tubey one, or the spindly one.

If its the spindly one, it should be a lot longer.

If it is teh wide one, bit like a shotty.

Maybe both? Maybe the longer focused stream one Assault Flamer, and other one Containment Flamer

The big nozzle sprays the fluid, the little spindly one just lights it.

We haven't decided anything on FT, anyone is free to discuss it in a thread on our forums.

Well, I mean, which version? Cause I've seen two flamethrowers. One is the one with the MASSIVE barrel, and the other that is thinner and smaller.

And yet you bothered to even reply so arrogantly to my post rather than just let somebody answer it appropriately, thus making everything you said invalid and incredibly arrogant. o.O You didn't pwn me, you merely elaborated on your arrogance. However, your original post was fairly valid in that I did quote a post that had quoted a post which stated something which now happens to be boosting. That does not mean you pwned me, it merely means you're sad enough to bother wasting my time with an arrogant post that was not needed whatsoever. I got my answer from Masterz, and you did not need to make such an arrogant post just to seem clever.

Anyway, before we get banned, we'd better get back on topic.

Is there any chance you guys can get biped customization working for SPV3? Isn't the main reason it's never been possible because it doesn't sync online?

He gave us one chance after that quote pyramid. If we do it again he'll probably ban us. He probably regretted giving us a chance BECAUSE somebody'd say exactly what you just said. Lol.
