As more maps came in, it was probably easier for him to just grab the read me and use the information from it. The thing is, work could of easily still been stolen if a user just registered under a different name and released the map under it.

Actually we have been around for a while already. The owner of UXB Internet (The company that owns the Halo Maps website) is an old fart who pre-dates the commercial Internet. Heck, when he went to school the PC hadn't been invented yet. Bill Gates was still in high school and Windows were something you looked out of.

I won’t say he’s old but he remembers:

When comic books cost 10 cents .
When you actually got up out of the couch to change the channel on the TV.
Where you were when you heard JFK had been shot.
When John Glenn went into space the first time.
When car radios were AM only.
When you watched "Today on the Farm" on TV before going to school

His favorite video game was PONG. He is sooooo old that... wait a minute I’m the owner of UXB Internet. Never mind. The alzheimers must be acting up again...

Best Regards,

Why don't you have to register to upload a map anymore?
Because no one would leave their real name or correct email. But to answer your thread question - no. Now ask what you really want to ask.

I am not old enough to have dinned with the Pharaohs but old enough to feel as if I had.
