Okay seriously. IDK what to say except people need to stop making posts for the exact same freaking thing. Is it really not possible to bump a topic with new stuff rather than make a completely new topic for one single little thing? Examples, reach stuff continued. Did someone not notice that there is already a halo reach WIP thread with over 20 pages already or something? And these mapping teams with 2011 and late 2010 members. Make ONE WIP thread for your team and put ALL your stuff on it. These forums are so cluttered with every team's individual topics for every single thing they make that they got a hard on about that the actual good threads like the general WIP thread, and major threads like Halo Reach WIP thread get bumped to page 2 sometimes within a day or less. I almost think Dennis has stopped caring about this because so many people do it it's become a hassle. He used to put the lock to redundant crap like this right away. Seriously, before you post something thinking you are ingenious for thinking of it, look to see if it's already been done.
Sorry I'm sort of raging here, but seriously guys, stop making so many redundant threads about the same team or the same type of creation. I remember back in 2009 when you used to see threads last updated a week ago or more on the first page because people used to look for a related thread before they posted.

At first the guy didn't even realize there was a Reach WIP thread...hell neither did I. Hunter dug it up though and then they bumped it back up so people could see.

Well, people have to start in some way, just that most people start off bad and some people start off good. I see your point but there's no use raging at them like this unless there's some "school" for it. I honestly think that we're going a bit too hard on the new people IMO... I could be wrong and hated for but just expressing my opinion

well I think that the two that tick me off the most are the the 10 bajilion FRMT threads and all the random reach WIP threads that if people took the time to bump or spend 20 seconds searching for we wouldn't have this problem but it's mostly the newbs who are being either lazy or not understanding forum courteousy. What do people think that by having their names as the OP of a forum thread that gives them some sort of standing as an experienced member? There are a few other redundant ones which occasionally Dennis locks then the person goes and makes the thread over again even when Dennis in the post said you already made a post for this. It's not even about being hard on newbs, it's about being hard, in some cases like this , on truly idiotic people. And do I even have to say anything about the so called "teams" that post a WIP thread that basically says "yeah guys we are here and we plan to make stuff we don't know what to make so tell us or join our team" No content, no gameplan, no nothing. How can you call yourself a team if you can't do any of the thinking for yourself. And again when you look at the members guess when they joined? Late 2010 or 2011. Hmm... Shocking!!! :/

We have the helping community here. It's over in technical help forum. I'm not saying don't ask for help. I'm saying if you have no clue what you are doing, don't call yourself a team because you know 2 or 3 other people that are interested in halo CE mapping. Hell I am always willing to help new people, but they need to realize when it is that you actually know enough about what you are doing to call yourself a team or to even think of forming a team.
