Are they possible?

If they are it would be cool if someone worked on the Reach nav points eg. ordnance etc

Custom like, making the Halo Reach nav points. Like the weapon drop nav point that was green and said ordnance and gave a distance too

I'm 99% sure that nav points are coded into the engine. I've yet to see the tags related to them.

You can't hardcode bitmaps as far as my knowledge goes. It must be in the tags folder somewhere.

The only choices for nav points are strings which are entered into the script, which says to me that it's a part of the engine. But if you want, do a search for something like skull_red in your tags folder and you might just find a bitmap.

I searched my tags folder for "nav" and then "way". The results for way included two bitmaps, both called "hud_waypoints.bitmap". Results said they were in the folders tags\ui and tags\ui\hud\bitmaps.
Neither of the bitmaps were in those directories, not even as hidden files! Basically search says they are in these folders, even when they are not. When I copy one of the hud_waypoints files from the search results and open this duplicate from another directory, it's a corrupted bitmap that's all blue and weird.
