I've made a new decal for the plasma rifle, and I've set it up to be a sprite - there are three frames, each slightly different. I've set it up rather similarly to the metal decal but in game it only ever choses the first sprite in my sequence, and not the other two. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
EDIT: Realised I'd been compiling the bitmap incorrectly. URGH. Solved. Edited by Diaboy on Jul 2, 2011 at 08:28 AM

Maybe you should post what you did to fix it in case others have a similar problem. I think you may have been compiling them vertically instead of horizontally.

Yeah, good idea.
What I'd done was sort my bitmaps horizontally, which was correct, and set it up as a sprite, 32 bit alpha and so on. It hadn't occurred to me that there was more to do in the bitmap file so I left it, but what I found the problem was that if you scroll down to the bottom of the bitmap file, there is the Sequences and sprites section; for it to work correctly for the decals, each sprite needs to be in its own sequence. By default, it loads up each sprite into one sequence. So just duplicate the sequence section by however many sprites you have, then in each one, delete the sprites so there is only one of each in each sequence, if that makes any sense.
Look at the decal metal.bitmap file to see what I mean!
