So back in '09, I announced the start of a project, Arms Race. I sort of abandoned it, along with CE after a while, but I stumbled upon it recently and resolved to resume. Here I'm gonna ask if any of you are willing to voice act or do a bit of scenery modelling for me. Yeap. PM me if you're interested, or add me on xfire. Some basic stuff about the level Plot outline:The year is 2535. The Covenant have uncovered a forerunner relic underneath a human colonised world just as they were just about to glass the planet. Believing the structure to be of great importance, the Prophet of Regret has arrived on the planet to examine their find. You play as a Spartan that is sent on a high-risk op to investigate the Covenant's activities, then discover that the Covenant theorise this is a forerunner weapons testing facility. Soon, the UNSC and Covenant are in an arms race, trying to claim the technology first. The bsp is visable thrue the drop pod's display panel thingy. Maybe fixable in it's shader by adding/inserting a layer. That or edit the gbxmodel

Are the marines gonna be ODSTs eventually? also if you give the drop-pod full traction then it won't slide around on the ground. might wanna get rid of the bottom collision so it goes somewhat through the ground when you land.
But it looks great! what % will be custom? skies, textures, weapons?

Uh everything except for the skies and BSP. Which reminds me guys, I would appreciate it if anyone would model a BSP for me, I wouldn't mind re-positioning all the AI and flags and stuff. Since in case you haven't noticed, this is a30_b

I like the Drop pod alot, It needs touching up of course. Like fixing it so it smacks into the ground, and maybe even make a collision efect when it hits the ground, so like dirty flies up. Make it cool.

They jump OUT of the vehicle coming in a speeds that almost kill you, cause said vehicle to burn up in atmosphere, and designed to get them into the battlefield quickly.... yeah sure! why not! IT looks more dramatic if you get out after it hits the ground. Think Delta Halo but from first person. Make sure the covenant look like they're only just getting combat effective, they had no idea the ODSTs were dropping and they'd be pretty confused. Wraiths only just coming online, grunts panicking because they can't find their weapons ETC.
