Everytime I compile my map the .map file doesn't appear anywhere on my PC nor does Halo find it but tool says it compiled so what is going on? I have never had this problem before

Vista or Windows 7 with UAC (User Account Control) can do stuff like that. Try running all parts of HEK as administrator.
