I dunno. Probably a transmitter. You know, the ones that transmit tactical data. That's what I got out of it.
The team will no doubt reveal the information to us at some time. Some time...

Why do I always miss the jealous trolls? But anyways, thank you to whoever put our project even more in the spotlight, there's no such thing as bad advertisement after all :)

Just would like to say something about the following quote by Mini:
Quote: "While it doesn't stand up to anything like a professional project, and while you don't like it, be courtius others and the people around you. They are not getting paid to do this, they are only creating the project for the people who would like to play it."

We do actually aim for such quality as much as we can given our own spare time and team-size. The goal of this project, at least for myself, was to match and if possible surpass the greatness of the original campaign by bungie. And I do feel that where we are currently, such expectations are going to be met. Also, Lumoria has been a huge learning experience and should lay the foundations in workflow for our future CryEngine3 project, which we would ultimately hope to commercialise.

And Josh's asset is one of those things you'll have to play to find out what it does :o

PS: Lumoria is an awesome name! It's a combination of the name of a well known snack producer over here (Mora) + something to do with lunar :O

E: One final word of advice to the troll: put a wetsuit on come on come on :)

If I offended you, then I am sorry. The halo campaign means so much to me (It's the best campaign in the history of gaming [note: This is my opinion]) and so I cannot accept this as a greater campaign until it has proven itself as such. (Judgement day for me will be when I play it). Also, the voice acting was a little loud, and mediocre. It just bugged me. Sorry.

Now, Lumoria has set a great example of just what the origional Halo Editing Kit can do, along with a hard working team and dedication, you can make a project that is better and stands out more than the rest! The story isn't just text based, or it isn't a one mission campaign, but rather a 2 - 3 mission campaign (I don't know if I should call it three, but you did have to split up episode 2 into tmc_b and tmc_c didn't you?) that actually lived up to what a custom single player map should play as. Gameplay wise, this mod has indeed made it on the top of my list compared to all the others.

So what does Lumoria mean? I'm assuming a snack producer creating his snacks according to the position of the moon or something.

I'm stumped.

This may help you...

And my guess is that the Covie thing is how we access the "Terminals".

Oh. I understand now. Never played that game, so...

A fair guess, but nope! :p
Oh and that final fantasy name similarity is actually purely coincidential, pretty crazy though.

***spoiler alert for the ones who haven't played it***

I know it a forerunner planet used to *map* out every planet in the galaxy along with a list of their inhabitants (I believe I copied that word for word), but I was wondering what the name meant itself. That's all.

You misread my question (or misinterpreted it) you silly goose.

Yep, as always the map will be rippable and the scripts included with the download, as like last time if there is any corrupted tags we will do our best to get them to the public so they may mod the map and learn. We try to promote learning with our work, as we would enjoy seeing projects like Lumoria being produced more often.

We will also release the entire story script that was written, along with all the terminals on our website. After release you'll be able to find them under the "Narratives" section on the site.

BTW, Josh is almost done with this bad boy! Texture is still wip.

No joke. :)

As for the old model, don't worry, this new one will be done again in a weeks time, hopefully. I can give this old one to higuy, but I'm not sure why you would want it, with my new revisions.

While they aren't particularly nice in their wording, the content of their crit helps make you grow from a very good artist to a great one :)
I also applaud your calm submissive state of mind towards their dominant agressive behaviour, Cesar Milan would be proud! :p

Hello Sprinkle, I am going to help you improve your communicational skills today, let's get started!
First we observe your original post, which reads as follows:

The core of this message is stated in a clear and well-written way in your first sentence, congrats!
However, the overall auro of the message is slightly ruined by your last sentence. So let us improve upon this and edit your post to be as follows:

Quote: --- Original message by: Sprinkle
He was asking for their help as he knew he wasn't doing it proficiently.

There we go, the core of your post is retained and it comes across as a short, to-the-point, professional message without the need of resorting to "mean" sentences directed towards those who do not approve the lack of polite communication on modacity, even if the message itself is useful! :)

No need to thank me, I love helping out others when I can :p

That does look nice, but isn't it too nice for Lumoria? By that, I mean Lumoria (at least in my eyes) is an asset to to the game that expands the original game in the time it was in. Meaning, (to me) the lower resolution textures and the less amount of detail is what defines it. That's how I got the spectre to fit in when I changed that up a little bit. I just don't really think it would look right. :/

I was recently at a friend's house doing voice over for a film.
He turned an entire wing of the house into a recording studio. He made me sound like glados and 343 guilty spark(in real-time).
I was immediately reminded of your need for a voice actor.
What ever.

343 is just a vocoder (with a flanger) and glados is either autotune or melodyne.

Ladies and Gentleman, the day we have been awaiting for is fast drawing near...

However, before that day comes, we have more updates!

Our recent endeavors:

We have some good news for you guys as well. While the release date is still being debated and so fourth (We are thinking April - May release, but we will see...), the map is still being worked on pretty hard.

First off, all of Brandon's dialouge is complete and now in our hands - thats one character down, two more to go! We need to get May's and the robots dialouge. Unfortunately May's voice actor won't be the same - simply becuase we have lost contact with her for several months now. If your a girl, somewhat have an Australian accent (or if your a guy but sound totally like a girl with an Australian accent), please contact me! I'm in search for a voice actor for May, Spartan-073, the main character.

We also need SlapHappy to finish his lines - if you guys know him, bug him to get em' done. The faster we have our dialouge completed, the sooner we can get you the completed experience.

Another thing, we are happy to announce that Geomar is pretty much complete. When Lumoria hits launch, you guys can get your feet - or wheels - all sandy and wet in the beach like multiplayer map.

Anyway, there is ton of things the team and I want to show you all, but alot of it is simply going to have to wait for your experience...
