I'm not talking about fancy stuff and that. I told you, I couldn't draw for my life. Sketches of areas and what they'd be like. What I think of concept art is... well, merely the concept. It doens't have to show all, in fact, not all parts of the concept art make it into something.I'd think of concept art as also planning out, because I think it can be as simple as a few curvey lines indicating slopes, and arrows and stuff showing troops and their movements and stuff. Liek dat.

Had to buy a new laptop. Too much jizz on it.

I like the ccs cruiser flyby there, but either use the halo3 one, or put lights on the engines =\

Just a suggestion.

Does it make the fly by sound like in Halo 3 and Reach?

I'm glad to see this is finally being done. I saw another Covy AI turret being done by Lone on Xfire, so I'm really glad to see this stuff finally showing up.

Turret looks cool, but how is it different than a grunt in a turret? Also what happens when it flips?

You'll need to play the map to find that out, I'll just note here that the ai turret first was simply an elite in a turret at first...but that didn't fit the role we needed it to here

Nice looking trailer, guys. You really kow how to make things stand out.

AHA! YOU PUT THE HALO 2 SHADOW IN! Heh, I had always hoped...

The AI turret looks intriguing. I wonder how it will be destroyed. Just normal bullets, or is it going to be BOOM! only?

It would also be cool if you could use it, like stand on the little platform, with your hand dug into the back of the controls, like controlling it by hand.

Also, I'm sure you've noticed this, the cruiser looks a little bit off. I'm sure that won't be the final look though, probably there to just give a teaser, and also remember to put engine effects.

Uh yeah May looks shorter either cause of the angle or the biped placement or custom animation. I'll look into moving her up a bit for the final updated version that we'll release with episode 2.
Edit: I have fixed May looking shorter, she now...looks taller!

We don't steal any ideas in our encounter designs. They are all original ideas by L0d3man or Higuy for the most part (but that doesn't mean other games or levels don't inspire us). That said, Skidrow was never (at all) an inspiration for any of our ideas, if any similarties are apparent they are purely coincidential.

On a similar note, our auto-turret idea and lone's mortar turret were thought up independently around the same time as well btw! Ah yes, great minds think alike (no sarcasm, I admire Lonewarrior and the flood campaign he and Koo are working on, great stuff coming up).

Imo the first Lumoria seemed rather lacking in fresh, custom content. This certainly makes up for it! :D

Aah, piano! That would be funny. Just have a nice relaxing melody...

Start the piano version trailer off with some nice scenery, maybe a waterfall if Ep 2 has any, and then start into the BOOM bits.

Thank the forerunners.

It's good to see this is getting along, we need more clans like you. Permanent ones, ones committed to staying and making the Custom Edition community richer in opportunities for gameplay and designs.

An approximate release date? Although I don't care if you take another year to make this look even better. Good job, TM. We love you.

It's almost impossible to give even a rough estimate of a release date. Sometime during the first half of next year more than likely if thigs continue at this pace.

The Covy cruiser shown in the video is actually missing a few things, only because of how it was recorded. It does indeed have screen shake and noise effects, the only error with it ATM is that dumb fog (probably something to do with sky or bsp tag idk).

As for that second update as I promised, I'm currently stuck on my phone until I get some phone cable, as the old stuff in my house is stuck under the carpet, AKA, comp can't get on interwebs yet.

The true atmospheric fog option in the shader_model tag does something, I remember having this problem in Valhalla.

Can you only do a screen shake when a cruiser flys by in cutscenes, or can you do it while you play too?

You can do it during a cutscene. Dratt was probably just recording in devmode or debug.

You know they practically died after EP1 right? That's what I saw anyway.

So are you guy's gonna fix the error's before release? Or are you just gonna wait a few month's to get it right like EP1?
