Sean Aero fixed up the shield elite so it uses it's shield more correctly

No, thats the thing that was on Ep 1, that was really frustrating. It had a turret that killed in about a sec.

It was the red one after the wall. And PLEESE can you add that as a drivable vehicle? It is so sick.

You should just make it similar to the ghost and banshee imo (but high-def).

@LoS: yeah, rumor has it it'll be drive-able in ep2 at least. Also pretty sure they said they are toning the turret down in their update

I did make a entry animation when I was still fixing the textures for it in EP. 1 but as far as I know, the shadow/spectre isn't meant to be drivable.

They had it drivable in Rp Gamma Marine. However, the turret kinda sucked, so if you use that, make it better.

I loved the part leading up to that fight! It was so much fun with the sniper.

I know! But they shoulda made the grunts tougher. They shoulda given them plasma rifles, and make them fire more, and be accurate.

Currently we're about halfway in the project in terms of "rough" BSPs and gameplay.
There will be sick fights, oh yes, very sick indeed...

Aside from sick fights, there will be some new custom assets as well. Ones which we won't reveal though, so you'll have to play the map to find out!

Oh and the Shadow will be driveable

Nah we have a different naming for those things.
- What you guys probably think of as "retro spectre" we call "shadow" (because that was going to be it's name originally before it was cut from the xbox version).
- The Halo 2 covenant bus, although it's called Shadow in halo 2, we call it "creep"

The creep currently won't be driveable since it simply isn't fun to drive.

Well it's pretty slow and cumbersome to drive and you just don't get the same kick driving it as you do when driving the warthog at high speeds or strafing around in the shadow while your gunner demolishes jackals.

But we'll see, ya never know maybe one day we'll decide it's worth being driveable (not likely though)

On the health bar, there's a bar across the bottom and a really pixely overlay to represent the overshield. I don't think the bar across the bottom's actually meant to be there and it certainly shouldn't be as pixely as it is on the left edge.

do the icons in the HUD switch to higher res's with resolution changes?

Like, say that ur playing on a 800x600 res, and it uses a 128x128 HUD image. Does that image swap with a higher res 256x256 HUD image if I go to a 1600x1200 res?

Weapon set itself is still default. But dude you can drive the Shadow and have 2 passengers with you!!!!
