Epic. It would suit me as well.

yep, I have a10 pretty much finished now so I've been working on a30, but errors with recorded anims will make it take longer to finish than a10 lately I've been working on the vegitation for halo, since this is your first look at halo, I wanted the first bsp to be filled with lush vegitation, whilst the second will be more war torn with crashed banshees, dropships, hev pods, and bodies of both human and covenant alike heres a picture of the first part of a30 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/232/sceneryp.jpg/this handsome looking fellow is the jackal skirmisher, a new enemy who's combat tactics are a hybrid of elite (movement), jackal (shooting), and brute (health) http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/848/skirmisherjackals.jpg/it is just a tex mod of the original jackal, but I'm using a h2 jackal with cmt's shield and armor for this mod's jackals, so it will appear as a whole new enemy since the models differ I may upload a vid of this level tomorrow

yes, but when my computer broke I lost all my tags related to that and any other mods I was working on at the time. I still am going to make that mod but it'll prolly be after my campaign mod is finished

hey halo life thanks for bumping now I can post some updates! thanks pal  I'll have a video of a30 up in a few hours, its got 104 mins till its uploaded to my pc then I imagine itll be another hour and a half till its on youtube so expect it around 10:00 or 11:00 my time (right now it's 7:03 pm my time) also if you haven't played the a10 beta please try it and if you have please post crit, I want to make the smoothest gameplay performance I can so please post crit. also this campaign is being made for use with 1 difficulty and 1 difficulty only, and that's normal. I cannot guarantee good gameplay on any other difficulty, and I plan on raising many encounters to their insane numbers and making all legendary easter eggs and cutscenes/extras show up in normal aswell EDIT: took a bit longer than I expected, here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRHmhQUAmvgalso beware, you can barely hear my voice over the game, but come on, who honestly wants to hear me? I've also added two new weapons to the human arsenal, they are the ma5k carbine and cmt's turret gun from spv2 (I've drastically reworked the gun to make it balance with the others, mainly damage wise) the ma5k and what I am now calling the lmg are two new STANDARD human weapons, meaning they are about as common as the battle rifle, smg, and assault rifle. The point in this is customization, I want the player to fight the way they want but with only 4 standard weapons (magnum, battle rifle, assault rifle, and smg), 2 special weapons (shotgun and sniper rifle), and 3 power weapons (flamethrower, rocket launcher, and spartan laser) availabe for the humans, it doesn't give you all the weapon choices you want. Not to mention with the amount of covenant weapons far exceeding the amount of human weapons in my campaign right now, the choices in guns are more 1 sided. Therefore, I have added them as 2 new standard human weapons. the lmg shoots slow, scatters easily, and doesn't do hardly any damage on shields, but it has a very high ammo capacity and can damage flesh and metal easily, it also overpenetrates many materials. It is great against vehicles aswell as infantry like jackal-skirmishers that have no shields. The ma5k shoots rather slow when the trigger is held down, but if the trigger is pulled manually it will shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger, similar to the hammerburst in gears of war 2. I does low damage to generally everything but has little bullet-scatter and is accurate at long ranges like the battle rifle. In addition the projectile can cause headshots, making it lethal to any medium range target with no/drained shields. However unlike the battle rifle, the ma5k has no scope, but it is much more ammo efficient than the battle rifle, making it a good choice for those who like playing recon and fighting at long distances.

So, I realize probably some of you don't know exactly what all will be in my campaign mod, so I've decided to give a list of weapons, ai, etc. etc.
I will add to this list as I add more weapons to this campaign
Weapons:
Covenant - plasma burst, plasma gatling, impaler rifle, needler, plasma pistol, elite plasma rifle, covenant carbine, fuel rod gun
Brute - spike burst, brute spiker, brute plasma rifle, brute shot, eviscerator shotgun, brute mauler
UNSC - h3 assault rifle, h3 battle rifle, ma5k carbine, lmg, h3 smg, h3 sniper rifle, h3 spartan laser, h3 rocket launcher, h3 shotgun
Insurrectionists - ma37 assault rifle (if I can find a relatively good one), ma5b assault rifle (if I can't find a good ma37), dmr (need a better model but oh well)
Sentinels - sentinel beam minor, sentinel beam major
AI:
Covenant - jackals, elites, grunts, hunters, brutes, drones, skirmisher jackals, (maybe on a50) prophets, geists
Insurrectionists - Rebels :p
Sentinels - sentinel minor, gold sentinel, sentinel enforcer
flood - flood elite, flood human, flood human armored (I'm not sure if cmt's armored flood will work but if they do I'll modify the armor bitmaps for them and make them look more flood infected, I know the elites work and will do that for them), infection form, (maybe if I can find one) flentinel
I'd love to do juggernauts and maybe even pure forms but I'm fairly sure there's none in CE yet
Marines - crewman, leatherneck, marine armored, odst, (maybe) spartan III
vehicles:
marines - scorpion, (all 3) warthog, mongoose, hawk, hornet, (maybe in b40) kestrel, (won't be flyable) pelican, (maybe in additional cutscenes) longsword, (if theres room for it) bulldog, mg turret
I don't have any rebel vehicles, I'd like to get some though
Covenant - spirit, phantom, scarab, (both varients) wraith, ghost, apparition, spectre, banshee, brute chopper, shadow, c gun turret, plasma turret
there maybe flood hawks or banshees and will most likely drive vehicles, I'll think more on this when I get to the flood levels
also for the marines' weapons I'd like to get a grenade launcher but again, no promises
that's it, also a30 almost finished, I just need to fix one more recorded animation and get two ai conversations going and it should be ready for public beta testing, and then I start on a50, which means BRUTES
EDIT: if anyone wants to complete a a dialog line for me, please record something very similar or the same to this: Sergeant: Master Chief, sir, this is Fireteam Delta, our pelican was shot down but most of the men are still able to fight, and we're trying to guard the cave entrance to make sure nothing can get through! Problem is, the (insert cuss word that starts with ba and ends with a d here) up on the hill keep hittin' us hard.
Marine: More foot-mobiles, up on the hills!

And maybe take the metal shield off of the chaingun. They need troop transport hogs, too. Those look very Rebel-ish, methinks. If they have a Scorpion tank, you probably don't need to do much more than simply replace all UNSC references with Rebel insignias.
