So in the IMT we were having a problem, about the UNSC machete texture
I made one, but yoko made another one i dont like, so we decided to make a vote. There is just differences of the blade texture mainly.  Which one is the best ? Or suggestions are also welcome (not childish ones) Edit : I LIEK MINE Edited by bourrin33 on Jun 4, 2011 at 04:30 PM |

Would it be possible to do some renders where they are all viewed from the same angle? Kind of like, before and after images - would make them easier to compare, IMO - I'm having difficulty deciding as they look so similar.

the darker grey on the blade and the what looks like sight shine on the grey of the handle makes me think that yokos looks better, yellow glow looks the same on both.

So i will use my blade and yoko's handle. (Yoko just did a light normal map, and a few grey on the handle, but it seems to make la différence.

Your blade's white edge needs more scratches visible, or at least the classic blade-diagonals (you know what I mean), and the blade's white edge needs to meld with the blade's dark center area via the "looks like rust" look. You also need to make the white edge more steel/light gray.
