Do you guys think I should include the bolt/charging handle pull (which loads the next round into the chamber) in my first person ready animations? Or should i leave that for just the reload-empty?

It depends on however you want to do your ready. For Halo animations I normally don't touch the bolt for the ready because it either:
A) Makes me have more frames than I want for my ready
B) Makes the animation look to tactical, which doesn't belong in Halo in my opinion

Again, it's all up to you. Personally I'd make one with and one without because ready animations aren't that difficult and time consuming to make. Decide which one you like/think looks best then.
