Yes, the sky will be darkened so to barely see the tree tops (meaning you see the leaf layers, but not the stump above the layer)

Yes, the lightning bolts are visible! They extend from the sky to the ground and co-incide with the thunder-clap sounds. They are visible in the video at 2:28 and at 4:00 - - but needs a bit more work to add some flair. They are device machines, so it won't sync in mp, but is there only for ambient special effect. (my vid recording was low end quality)

The sky - is a scrolling effect transparent shader with 6 various bitmaps, the effect is to make it similar to an Aurora Borealis sky/northern lights morphing effect.

As for weapons, right now it is classic set, but I think it may be better to go with covenant and plasma as they are more visible in dark settings, but I am open to suggestions.

Yes, vehicles and the MC have a wet hard candy like cubemap - it's raining afterall.

And yes, I love the mongoose - BUT - the thing I hate about it is lack of guns to make it comparable to the Ghost, I tried just tagging a marker "primary trigger" on the model near both headlights, but gave up after about 60 attempts - it just would not work.

I will also lower the volume of the crickets . . . just a bit so to not be annoying

as for weaps, i thought the needlers on 'mongoose point' were great beause they homed in and u could actually kill people while u were racing. the contrast of the pink with the dark background might be nice too, or might it be too much?

slaphappy, im just wondering how u would feel about releasing 2 versions of this map, mongoose swamp and chopper swamp. chopper swamp would b great as u could shoot at each other more effectively as u race.
