we all know sp firefight why u cant make firefight multiplayer (by creat a map not console)
console meen its will not be showin in the maps list like halo reach and halo 3 firefight it would be cool if u made a map firefight multiplayer . can any one make one and if not why ~!

Because AI do not synchronize over multiplayer in Halo 1's game engine. If you attempt to play a map with AI online, the host will be able to see their real location, but everyone else will see them in other places and will not be able to hurt them. I'm sure someone else can better explain this, but to make it simple: AI does not work online.

Guys I think he just wants to be able to select it from the MP list, not play it online.

I'm so lazy that I would do that too just so I can go from: fragging grunts in a firefight to: fragging PEOPLE in a multiplayer match

When a modder makes a map he sets it up as solo, multiplayer, or main menu. Those are the three types of maps. If it was not created as multiplayer, then you cannot run it from the multiplayer list.

Well, yeah, AI don't sync, but I've thought quite a bit lately about making a firefight map in MP format... so that you can simply select it from the mp menu. Instead of having to type it in the console. It doesn't really matter, but I don't care :D? You can choose your own color, type hateful messages at the AI :P, play with your friend in a non-syncing firefight, and even set your own time and possibly weapons and stuff by using a custom gametype. You don't have to have devmode running, and you don't have the awkwardness of typing the whole map name into the console.

Yeah, so AI are all of those computer enemies. Like the grunts and jackals that you see running around shooting at you in campaign. Basiclly, everything that is moving and shooting in Halo that isn't a player is a computer-controlled AI bot.

Dude, we know what (h3)Sandtrap is, it's just that using h3 inside brackets [] apparently is a BB code.

Also, we don't need to know how many downloads it has or the rating. We can check those out ourselves.

Just because you don't know what an AI is, doesn't mean everyone else can't talk about AI all of a sudden all because of a noob. You noob. O.o

So I shall inform you of AI.

AI are all the bad guys and good guys, in the Halo Campaign, that is not the player.
In Multiplayer, you can put AI, but results in many problems.
Most important one being syncing.
Syncing is when something on your computer can or cannot be seen on someone else's computer in Multiplayer.
AI, do NOT sync, because of the way the Halo 1 Engine was written.

Hopefully you are now a part of the ex-noob AI syncing group.

Seconded. Don't know any translators but there are plugins for firefox and other browsers that translate.
