"FTP File transfer: This option uses a Java applet to enable you to transfer large files to our server. It will download a small Java Applet to run in your web browser. Be sure that you have the Java virtutal machine installed with your web browser and when asked you must approve the applet to run. This applet will use port 21 for FTP transfers"
My dad restricts the internet pretty good, makes it shut off so i can focus on my school work, but he also closes all the ports so no traffic can get in. Now, since my ports are shut, and this applet uses port 21, and it's shut, i cant upload maps bigger than 32 MB's.
Now, is there any other back up way that i can get larger files onto halomaps? or am i going to have to ask my good ol' pal jedi to do it for me? Thank you all for answering.

Quote: --- Original message by: Halo Maps HTTP File Transfer This option will allow you to upload files through your web browser and requires the Flash 8 plugin (or better) to operate. There is a file size limit of 32Mb and a maximum file limit of 42MB per transfer. If you wish to upload larger files please use the FTP option. It says you can upload up to 42 megabytes. But I assume there is no other way to upload larger files. Edited by pepzee on May 11, 2011 at 11:12 PM

Now that i know i cant do it i'll just let jedi do it =P

if the bios isn't protected (and the firewall isn't on the router) you can just use a liveCD to upload it. You can run OS off disks without installing them, or even use 'the liveCD I shall not mention the name of' to load your local OS without needing passwords (you could login to a user with the password hippo using the word laz0rz, etc, it doesnt care what you type in, it just always accepts it)
From any liveCD, you can go ahead and do what ever. If its a liveCD other than the one I wont name, your computer will be fine even if you directly run a virus in the liveCD, for two reasons. first, its probably a linux liveCD so your fully save there anyways. secondly, the virus will install into the system files of the liveCD, which is just loaded into memory, meaning that when you shut the computer down, that data is gone (go with a linux liveCD regardless (more plentiful to begin with lol), those are nice, and come with programs to do everything lol)
If its a router thing, cmd, ipconfig, and copy the default gateway into a internet bar. most people use the default passwords, like pass, password, admin, administrator, 1234, or a empty password field.
(im gonna yet yelled at for explaining this, aren't I? lol)
