Description: an RPG_Beta6 Variant with a big ship over it.

The vehicle names and all the info are in the "IMPORTANT FILES, READ!" folder.

This map contains 3 new never-before seen vehicles as well.
-Mass Driver Cannon
-Halo Reach Sabre (Deleted due to it being very crappy)
-Halo Wars Shortsword
(all the spawncodes are in the folder "IMPORTANT FILES, READ")

same old terrible textures that you continue to use everytime you try to mod this map.
then you add a few things in the sky and call it a new release with a new name.
untill you you take the advice that's been given to you many times about fixing the texturing,
this map will will not been seen any better.
after the time opsy took to make the main model/bsp i think if you want to put your own name to it,then you sort your crap texturing out and ffs soon for the sake of the next time you re-release this same old map.
tbqh your not making this map any better,instead your making it rather boring now.

I completely understand your point. I put created because that giantass celer i did make, and i would have put it on another custom BSP i would have made, but the lightmaps would hav taken DAYS to render.

And yes, be expecting another custom map by me, with this ship, on a custom BSP. ;)

Is it really that hard for you to get a decent Texture? Texturing is easier than modding a blood gulch map...

Okay, I tried out this map for grins.

What the hell is this...

The map itself is bland and uninteresting. Its uses the same massive texture for the ground that is ugly and pixelated. The textures on most everything are uninteresting.

The vehicles... The sabre is just the sabre model pasted over the pelican, it still has the same weapons, markers, and collision model, as well as the same sounds and physics

All the custom vehicles are similar. All use the same physics and general weapons, with little or no variation.

Please please please, can you try more for higher quality?

after all this is a pretty good map when you think about.

it has some pretty good vehicles. they just need some tweaking.

as for the textures, once again just need to be changed a little.

this map is pretty good. just needs to be edited a bit.

you won't be prove wrong then maniac,the whole bsp was made by opsy and that's the only good part of the map and this so called mod.


nick you mentioned a fully custom bsp?

I guess you have a much different take on quality than i do. The vehicles are not good, like I said, they are all models pasted over the same base vehicle, specifically the pelican, and are not textured worth a darn. The textures don't need to be tweaked, they need to be changed completely, as in not one texture that is massive and pixelated stretched of the entire map where each individual pixel is 3 or 4 world units wide. This map is not pretty good, it needs a massive amount of work to bring it beyond even mediocre.

If map was intended as a display case for the new vehicles then it would be okay. If you actually made it to be for gameplay or looks you failed miserably.

I tried playing it and repeatedly fell through walls and floors off the map. I say: It's a great first model, call it a Beta of something to come.

erm, you will keep working on it?

/edit I saw it was being hosted tonight, but I couldn't join, got the Unable to connect error. I believe it was the author of it.

Since my PC sucks at a 1 GB RAM, i cannot render lightmaps fast enough, and nor can i keep it running it without wasting energy. So what other map did i have to test my new ship out on? Ahh, OpsY gives me permission to use RPG 6, so why not? If you think my creativity is bad, look around in the godang ship i made, and if you still dont like it, then wait for my new map im modeling, okay? And what maps have you made? just outta curiosity.

Because no one has had a problem with it except these people up there ^^^^

You keep falling through it, because it's a scenery, and when you walk into the vehicles, it launches you under the map. no way to fix that with a scenery. And i am making a new custom BSP with it in it, as PART of the BSP, and i will fix it / finish it on this version. It's mostly complete in this version, but i couldnt add my dance room like i wanted too, because i didnt want a giant chunck of a portal to play the song, just the room to hear it. So i will portal the new one so i can play it in that just one room.

Tbh, i didnt spend much time on the vehicles as i wanted too, but eh, they are better then nothing, or not? And they will add nice twists to the role play. like i said with slayer, no one has an issue with this map besides most of the people who commented on it earlier.

Okay, your PC sucking is a fine excuse, but I thought you said you wanted to be in the video game industry, and you wanted to improve gaming. The Unreal engine needs AT LEAST 4GB Ram to use, and is not even the most powerful engine out there.

And don't keep asking people what maps they've made. Consumers have a more important opinion than the creators for an important reason... THEIR OPINION IS NOT BIASED.

And once you go into commercial game development, you'll find that you will go bankrupt unless you start listening to consumers.
