Ok, I've been reading the Autodesk website about 3DS Max Trials. I think it said that it isn't a 30 day deal. So when I download the trial, is it, or is not a timed trial? Is it like Gmax where you download, fill out a bit of paperwork, and boom, you can use it for the rest of your life?

It is a 30 day trial that will expire.

You get a month (absolute time) out of it. It's not on a timer, like you get however many hours of use out of it... from when you first run it, I think, you get 30 days.

Oh ok, so do people ever:

1. Install
2. After 30 days, uninstall
3. Reinstall
4. Repeat this process for eternity, or until they decide to buy 3ds

?? Theoretically you could have 3ds that way, legally without buying it.

It doesn't work, don't try to find a way around the system put in place. Either buy it, use Gmax, or find another affordable alternative.

Ah, then I must have been thinking of a different software. Ok, yeah, I'm a good guy, I have had Gmax for a while now. I'm not going to use a keygen or something if it gives me the same privileges as a paid-person. I was just wondering how the trials worked, like Halo Trial is really good, limited features, but unlimited time. I guess it doesn't work that way. Ok thanks, Gmax FTW!!!! :D
