recently i got a new monitor, widescreen lcd, my native resolution is 1920*1080, ive noticed that halo lags for no reason at this resolution, it runs fine at full speed on a standard monitor, but its really slow on my lcd. ive tried messing with my graphics driver, but it didnt help at all. i am using a dvi cable instead of a vga cable, that might not affect anything but i might as well let you know. anyone else experiencing these problems at high resolution?

Maybe it's your video cards themselves.

^ Sad, but true. I've had a look around computer parts stores (Tiger Direct [CompUSA for you American people out there], Canada Computers, etc.) and the only AGP cards out there are pretty lame. Only a rare few (mainly from ATI) have an HDMI port. The rest are DVI/VGA.
Speaking of which, I need to get a new comp, myself...stupid nine-year-old crapbox >.>
