I have a problem with my halo 3 turrets collision.I have spent some time animating it,creating shaders and creating a collision model.the problem is that when I try to compile the collision in tool it says:

#Error# redface or something

I have thought about deleting the faces that face each other from different objects that have been attach to each other and welding the vertices like the belt and main gun but idk.Would any body be able to tell me how to fix this?

Thanks from cheddars

P.S Im anxious to see it ingame and might release if it's good enough

I think that is for if you have a duplicate faces on top of one another or two faces crossing each other. Import the .wrl to find it.

the wrl is in your halo custom edition folder. if it didn't make one, then your using Windows 7, and not running all your halo tools as administrator (in OS' with UAC enabled (User Account Control) you MUST run as admin, or else your files wont really be there)

It's created one before but I'm using xp as a admin but I think it's because I used tool++ at the time

If tool does not make a .wrl, and you know! for sure it does, then you have one of those instances where tool cant tell you whats wrong and your best bet is to redo your collision geometry from scratch again

ok it did now but when I run it through tool it says

#ERROR# couldn't update edge ....

I imported the debug and found some faces on top of each other where the error is.should I delete these?

No because then can't update edge becomes error red is open, you just trade one for the other.
