another thing i thought was only me, FPS's just don't work on xbox, it's just so freaking hard to aim!

yeah, i originally thought that too, but now it isn't that bad after I've trained against ODST brutes. Sniping them is soooooo fun. You just have to be really steady and not take the shot until you're pretty sure you can get a hit. The hard part is trying to predict when they move. (Reach elites, like h1 elites move around a lot, so are hard to snipe). But ODST brutes don't move around too much.

It's a rumor, and the Rumor wasnt even 343 it was the makers of Time Shift.

I would like if they put lumoria in the new halo ce upgrade :p

And no frankly its not even good compared to Bungie's work. Maybe you should stop acting like your dead, get back on Xfire and help higuy with Lumoria 2 which isnt canceled, but since Higuy and you are the biggest trolls ever you decided to cause drama.

As far as im concerned, i wouldnt mind another halo game. To an extent. Cant be completely revamped to the point, where i can barely recognize it and it loses its 'halo feel'. (unfortunately, that all started when halo3 odst came into the market :/)

What i really want from all these "new halo games" is freaking flood that look like they could eat you with their eyes. I mean, in HCE; the flood were horrific (considering when halo was at its peak), halo 2.. They looked scary(ish) and acted freaky and their environments looked scary aswell.. Decent, but there was room for improvement. And Halo3. No horror aspect to them whatsoever. They resemble my colon. Even though that was Bungie's intent of their apparance and they did nail it in that sense.. But they just didnt have that freakish "imma kill you, but first imma make you shiz brickz" feel. :/

If there were to be any remakes (which undoubtable will happen because of M$ and 343 using the Halo Cash cow), they better make some damn scary flood. D:<

Im sure game companies do at least some research in their competition, much like all successful business do. They should really check into Viceral's game: Deadspace. (&2), i mean; have you looked at the pukers? First time playing mp in DS2, i spawned as the puker and make myself shiz brickz just by moving the camera so its faces the front of the puker.
The gaming companies that are trying to get that 'horror/scare' feel into their games (or just that 1 level for the matter) should really look at Viseral. Obviously they know what they were doing to create the "shat your daks just by moving in the environment on your own".

Very in depth modding tools. Something on the scale of the UDK or Source SDK yet user friendly like the Farcry 2 or H3\HR Forge editors. I'd like to create huge, eye-satisfying environments that challenge older computers, and not tear my hair out doing it.

I swear on all that is holy, if the modding tools are not released or as shizzy as Halo 2 modding tools, I will snap my Halo 1 disk, delete Halo 1 from my hard drive, and never buy a Halo game again.

That's because in Halo 3, you've already played the last 2 games packed full of flood, you come to know what to expect from them. In the Halo 3 level Floodgate, as soon as that one Covenant Cruiser jumped into earth, I immediately knew that it was the flood. That's just because I know what they do and what they look like based on the last 2 games.

Now, if 343 does make any new Halo game, the Flood WILL NOT EVER BE SCARY. Unless you are playing that particular game for the first time, never touched another game in the series, there will never ever be any horror aspect to the flood.

I played Crysis 2 for the first time day-before yesterday, and I shat myself when those aliens started attacking me from above, and started eating the people. I'm sure if I had played Crysis 1, I would have not have been as scared as I was then. MY GTS 450 CAN HANDLE CRYSIS 2 1920x1024 ADVANCED SETTINGS BIATCHES! shoulda saved money for a 460 though.

How bout sprint and evade arent abilities at all?

That's dumb, like other games, you should just be able to sprint and evade normally.
Like GTA IV, for example, you can roll out of the way and you can sprint till your guy gets tired.

Sprint and Evade should be considered as PERMANENT abilities for SPARTAN-II's to use, as they can obviously run at over 66mph (Kelly can run up to 100+mph), plus the armour doesn't make them walking rustbuckets, they are able to move as fluidly as any normal human.

Sprint and Evade, in other words, shouldn't be armour abilities, they should be something that the player can use constantly.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Halo 1 remake, a pc version could work, but the system requirements would probably be crazy. I'm fine with it as long as they don't turn the game into the cash cow that call of duty is now.

Hey, you know what they should do. Put in a Custom Edition map or two. Not one like yoyorast island (too funky :P), but one like Portent or something would fit in pretty well.

That'd be nice sign to the community!

They could mb take like the best custom sp level (Lumoria) and the best custom MP level (Revelations or mb the upcoming Requiem?) :p

Yeah, and it makes sense too because it's remaking a Halo 1 map.

Not always the case though, i mean Deadspace2 still had that horror feel to it for me. Regardless of the fact that iv played DS1 and have completed the campaign twice already. :/

So far, Viseral games seem to be the only ones with enough professional experience to make there games scare people. :/

It would be impressive if they could manage to make a 20 person max mode (imagine Chill Out with 20 people) or if they made a couple new game types.

I mean they probably won't, but it would be pretty cool to have a firefight equivilant in HaloCE

And I have to agree with the several who request new maps, they don't need to be glamourous, but maybe something like Death Island in which you play on a single player level.

As for backwards compatibility...that would be preferable.
