Just remember, you should make your ladder a seperate plane floating near the wall, not actually part of the wall, so that when you apply the ladder texture, you wont see through the ladder into the rest of the map. Like this: I just name my ladders "laddername%^" The % is to make it double sided I believe, that should fix and problems you get from the open edges on the plane. Because your ladder is part of the BSP and BSP needs to follow sealed world rules. A ''Plane'' is not a sealed element for Halo thus adding the %, like for glass, makes Halo forget these little errors by double siding it. Not only visually but for collision purpose.
