I'm ashamed to admit that I've ripped from Sandtrap Race to get a plasma pistol But here's the thing. The thing in 3P doesn't look like a halo 3 plasma pistol. It looks like a halo 1 plasma pistol. When I pick it up, in FP it looks like a halo 3 plasma pistol. So, I tried opening the .weapon, looked into the gbx model, and it was a halo 1 plasma pistol model. I tried changing it to halo3 fp.gbx model, saved, and recompiled, and it gave me all these errors. So, I just reset the halo 3 plasma pistol directory, and am still stuck with this dilemma. Anyone want to give a helping hand?

Open the FP model and copy the shaders to the 3P model, but you might want to copy\paste a new 3p GBXmodel. No need to be ashamed for ripping from an intentionally unprotected map Edited by jesse on Apr 10, 2011 at 12:47 AM

That shouldnt matter; it just means your weapon doesnt have a collision. (Guns and Grenades wont effect it) Make sure in the .weapon that the bounding radius is 0.2. If that doesnt work try increasing it; if that doesn't work then I'm all out of ideas. Make Render Bounding Radious 360. Try it?

You are obviously using the FP model. I said use the 3P model. 3P model doesn't have the green electricity between the power nodes.
