I remember seeing somewhere that you could make a third person camera on the biped using camera tracks in guerilla. Not knowing how to do this i ask you. I am working on something and would like for the camera to be in third person and i will edit it later to be exactly what i want. But for right now i need to find out how to make the camera see the entire biped. but still have the FP arms and anims in the screen aswell. So is it possible and thank you in advance

Like I said, you contradicted yourself. You can't do something like that if you have conflicting errors.

Also, your bolded words and your sentence did not make much sense at all.

The player's third person biped is not rendered in FP. Adjusting the camera track won't change anything. You could attach the camera to a node overlooking the player's body using scripts, but this isn't a Guerilla thing.

Still, Third person makes the camera behind the player/character...it wouldn't make sense if your FP hands are still there...

It would if you put it so that the camera is in your head but can still see your third person body. Then you would be able to see your legs. And you would have a halo 3 FP-ish look. I know it's kind of weird but i'm trying to get the legs into FP. And don't say model it. because i've triad and it has to many bones for Gmax to export. Plus you can't animate a jump in FP or a crouch ect. so i'm experimenting :P

I wish. However, there isn't a script command to attach the camera to a marker, even though it would be the sweetest thing ever. If there is one, do tell, I'm just basing that statement on having read through the entire list of commands which was spat out at me by Sapien.

Anyway, I'm fairly sure Halo doesn't support a third person view for players that can be activated within tags.

So, you're making a "FP" thing that is actually is third person thing...like H3's heavy turret pickup?

What was that Resident evil map that made it so the camera was third person limited? It was as if you saw through the eyes of multiple cameras along the walls that changed depending on where you were.

I'm not actually going for third person. What i want is for the camera to see the bipeds third person model but be close enough that it's inside the bipeds head. To simulate a halo 3 first person because you'll be able to see your legs. Not really third person but instead first person that can still see the biped. Like in halo 2\3\reach were if you look down you can see your legs

I'll make a JMS exporter for Halo 1 and H2V for 3ds max 9 and up if someone released something like that.

That's a command (camera_set_relative I think) that moves the camera based on camera points and a specified unit.

Okay. So i found out how i'm going to rig it. now what i need is for someone to tell me how to make a first person crouch\crouch run\fall ect. All of the stuff that FP doesn't have
