How do I change the amount of needles it takes for a super combine? Do I look in the projectile?

I dunno, the best I can think of is go into the projectile and scroll down to "detonation" and edit the timer.

That does absolutely nothing, once 7 shots are placed, the projectiles explode. I think this is hardcoded into the game and you cant change it.

I was going to disagree but I have to say inside the projectile all I found is a flag for ''Has Super-Combining Ability''. You'll have to test to see what the hardcoding looks for. Is it the amount of bullets, the damage... there surely are workarounds.

There is one thing you could try, but I'm not sure how well it would work, especially online. You could set your rifle to fire two or three projectiles at once and turn on "projectiles have identical error" in the weapon tag. However you must be sure to disable both the homing and ricochet feature of the needle to be sure that the projectiles stay inside of each other.

Also, be sure to set the damage of your projectile to proportional to the amount of damage you want each round to do.

Ah, that just saved the day, that seems to be the best solution we've got right now. That works quite well, I may use that. thanks :D :D

could work for a needler rifle...well, if someone releases a model and textures soon, I'll be grateful but for now, I'm sticking with the needler (CMT's to be precise) sooo..any other solutions?

The grenades in halo can explode other grenades causing a chain reaction that makes a huge explosion. Maybe this feature is also present in the needler?

Make a quick mod to bloodgulch by adding a pit of grenades and toss one it there. Big Booms guaranteed.

Actually, it does. I learned this the hard way when throwing frags at a biped that was loaded with them :(

It happens in single player with grenades that have been dropped, but placed and unmoved grenades will not. Not sure if they explode at all in MP.
