It compiled fine in tool with no errors i havent seen in my working beta maps. Is it ecause i using the mongoose animation tag? Or is it because the easy halo script i made is causing problems. All the flags are at least 1 unit above the ground.

you need to go to your halo custom edition game folder and find the file called debug.txt
open that.
copy the last paragraph of it in your next post.

that...i haven't got a clue.

hud messages,so i would think that's the script that's maybe not right.

edit:are compiling a UI or what?

I'm just trying to compile my map. How can I check if the hud im using is intact? Maybe that tag is causing problems.

You should be able to check them in guerilla,do that.
Maybe you messed with your tags and should re-install.

Well, I reinstalled haven't gotten to where I was in my past scenario. Guess I learned that you gotta test after every change to the tags directory.

I didn't compile it at all i just used easy halo scripter and put it into hsc format. Should i have compiled it with tool or something?

First, after you save your script in data\levels\(path to your map), open your scenario in sapien, open the File menu and click Compile Scripts.

Second, is your map single-player or multi-player?

Multi-player. Today I tested by compiling a map I haven't work on yet. Got this error:

If the map plays fine then it's just tool telling you it didn't expect these files to have been edited to a newer size. Which is what I am assuming is what happened otherwise tool would have shutup about it.
