Does anyone know how i can make my halo custom edition load faster. for me it takes like 15 minutes to start up and its sooooooooooo annnoooyiiing. If you know how i can fix this other than removing mapss please tell me :D

might be to do with the amount of maps you have. 15mins is a very long time tho.
edit:is there not an app thats only lets choosen maps load up or is that server related. just going by something i remember seeing in the downloads section a while ago. Edited by ally on Mar 14, 2011 at 05:10 PM

Yeah, it doesn't matter how good your system is (ok maybe a little bit) but it's mostly to do with how many maps. I know the longest it took me was 3 minutes when I had around 100 something maps. I cleaned out my maps folder and it significantly decreased my load time.

just noticed an article on this website that might help you,that's if you haven't already went ahead with the map manger... http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=289this tells you to create a folder called "hold" without the quotes create that folder inside your maps folder and drag and drop the maps you don't want haloce to load on startup. hope it helps.
