I just got my laptop back from Frankensteining it. To put it simply, it is to fast to run halo. I will play on a lan and suddenly I'm sonic-spartan...as...funny as that looks, everything is speed up. My computer is now running a 1.73GHz processor, and 798. 2.00 GB of RAM. Is there any way that I can go into the system and maybe reduce the amount of RAM being used to run games? 2.00 is a little bit of overkill for a 1 to 1.5 GB game.

Although I have no idea what would cause this problem, I don't think your computer specs are causing it. I'm running just fine on a 2.8GHz cpu, and 4 GB of RAM.

I play Crysis, Crysis 2, and halo on mine and I never have issues with anything like this. Hmm. Weird.
