Protip: Don't use it. You can easily use Alt-code to input the vast majority of alternate letters/symbols in Halo instead of using a program to do it for you.

If that doesn't work (like if you're using a laptop, for instance), use the Alt-code on a desktop with Halo installed, make a profile with the Alt-code in it, the transfer the savegame files from the desktop to the laptop.
