Well theres a few things i don't understand about the lives script i have but i understand that you have to modify the ball.weapon tag for a part of it so that it explodes after 3 seconds. I'm guessing it needs to explode while your holding it but how do i do this/am i doing the right thing

Yeah i might make a much simpler version without the skull.
But what is the command to remove the players current weapons and just replace them with a loadout

To give players a new set of weapons and grenades, use player starting profiles.

yer i know but how do i script to remove the players current weapons? I have the command to give the player a starting profile but i need to know how to remove a players weapons

Go in guerilla and go to globals.globals scroll down to multiplayer Information, click "Open" on the biped, go down to weapons, and then delete them. :) And if you have a "baton" weapon (If you do it will be in the scenery folder under baton) You can use that as a weapon (It's a weapon that makes you have no weapons when spawned) I think you can get it from Sanctuary_mrp, or you can rip it from my map "RPG_Snowy". RPG_Snowy is in the forums under Halo CE General Discussion. Hope this helped. :)

What i'm trying to do is:
say if the player spawns with an smg and automag then discards those for a...carbine and a plasma pistol. How do i get rid of the carbine and plasma pistol?

i get what your trying to do i have no idea how do but i imagine you can use this and put in a continuous or have something to trigger it (like player death or health falling below a amount.) (player_add_equipment ) //description adds/resets the player's health, shield, and inventory (weapons and grenades) to the named profile. resets if third parameter is true, adds if false. i got this from ( http://www.freewebs.com/desphm/HS_Bible.htm)(site i got it from)

i know i have already sorted out how i'm going to do it and all the script commands for it i just need to know how to get rid of the weapons!!!!

I don't get what you're trying to achieve here. If you don't want the player to be using a certain weapon, use the unit_has_weapon script to detect when he has that particular weapon and use starting profiles to replace it. Alternatively, there's a command to render all the weapons AI drop unusable by the player, but I can't seem to recall it. Edited by Polamee on Feb 11, 2011 at 11:54 PM

What i am trying to do is get rid of the players weapons. Say, if the player has an smg and pistol at the start then swaps the smg for a carbine and the pistol for a gravity hammer. How do i get rid of the players current weapons?
