Ok I am trying to get a specular on a grated surface but I am not sure what I would do in this case. I am pretty sure I would make a lightmap and do lightmap is specular, but I tried that and it did not work right. It still has everything having equal reflections.
Anyone able to shed some light on this matter? I am not a shader person so I don;t really know much. I am trying not so much to get the shaders right but find out what has to be done in the bitmaps.

Well, we just got DSal to help us with the project I was asking about this for and he has shed a whole lot of light on texturing for me. let me put it this way. Someone needs to learn to read the little clues that guerrilla gives them.
