Is there a command to change the view in a vehicle to first person?

No, to do that you have to modify the .vehicle file, or make a new one. But after you do that, you may still have to align the camera

well there is a command in the commandlist (type in camera in dev and press tab) that is camera_set_first_person but it does nothing

That command is only used when the debug camera is active. It simply returns your view to your character instead of the camera.

ok ive just been experimenting with dev mode latley. ive been tryin to figure out what it is capable of.
