I am trying to play a game with my friend but it says we are unable to join eachothers games, We have the same map and settings. Any info?

need to make sure to correct ports are forwarded the ports are,
2302-2303 also make sure these are allowed through your firewall. more on setting up a server here...http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=237 |

It's run on his and on mine, We tried both times, We can join others but not eachothers.
We also tried out doing different gamestyles and still nothing :l |

Are you two using the same CD Key? Using an identical CD Key is the main reason why friends can't join each other's servers. The only possible way to play against (or with) each other is by joining a dedicated server.
That is, of course, if both your CD Keys are the same. |
